Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar, President ,BJP Mahila Morcha1 Vijaya Rahatkar is a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Maharashtra Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar has been appointed as President – BJP Mahila Morcha on 16th August 2014. She is the 11th President of Bharatiya Janata party Mahila Morcha. BJP Mahila Morcha represents the half of the Population of BJP Organization that constitutes of Women. She has a Masters of Arts and Bachelor of Science Degrees from University of Pune. She started her Political Career working at the Grass Root level i.e. the Booth Level. A Confident Personality due to her diligence has risen to the ranks of the President – BJP MM. Her Political Career constitutes of a Long Tenure before being appointed as President – BJPMM. During this long journey of 25 years she has grown up the ladder & Had been on various Posts like BJP Jila Secretary, Pradesh karyakarini Sadasya, Mahila Morcha District President, Yuva Morcha State Vice President. She has been a Councilor at Aurangabad Corporation for Last 15 years. She has been Chair Person – Zonal Committee, Chairperson – Child & Women Welfare Committee, Member – Standing Committee.She has been Corporator at Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (2000-2010). Vice-President of National Mayors’ Council (2007-2010) and President of Maharashtra Mayors’ Council (2007-2010) Her Tenure as Aurangabad Mayor has been from 29th October 2007 to 28th April 2010. Bharatiya janata Party gave her this opportunity to be Mayor from the Open General Category. (2010 – 2013) – BJP Mahila Morcha Maha Mantri (2013 – 2014) – BJP Mahila Morcha National General Secretary ( IInd Term). Since 16th August 2014 - National President – BJP Mahila Morcha.
